What is AVID After Hours?
Students in the AVID program are required to maintain their grades at (and ideally considerably above) the C level. If a student's grade in any class falls below a C, the student and family are notified by email and the student is expected to attend the AVID After Hours program the following week to receive additional academic support. Many students attend AAH regularly outside of the requirement because the time allows them to collaborate with peers, work with tutors and focus on academics. Tutors and snacks are available!
