For the last eleven years, Michael Pine has been a full-time teacher, eight of which he spent at Ida B. Wells.. Pine grew up in Salem, Oregon and attended college in New York before moving back to èßäapp¹ÙÍø. By pursuing teaching, Pine followed in the footsteps of his parents, who were both educators. “I like the idea of being able to pass along what it means to be a good citizen and help shape the next generation,” said Pine. His hobbies include outdoor activities like hiking and canoeing.
