    Multnomah County School-Based Health Centers

    Multnomah County Student Health Center LogoMultnomah County Health Department partners with èßäapp¹ÙÍø to provide high-quality primary and mental health services at Cleveland, Franklin, Jefferson, McDaniel, and Roosevelt high schools. Student Health Centers are like having a regular doctor’s office at school. We serve all K-12 Multnomah County youth ages 5 to 18 with or without insurance. There are no out-of-pocket costs for our services. We welcome all colors, all genders, all sizes, and all cultures regardless of immigration status. Students don’t need to attend the school where the center is located to receive services.     Student Health Centers provide many services including:

    • COVID-19 vaccines and testing
    • Routine physical exams, including sports physicals
    • Early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of illness and injury
    • Vision, dental, and blood pressure screenings
    • Immunizations
    • Mental health services
    • Age-appropriate reproductive health
    • Routine lab tests
    • Prescription medications
    • Health education, counseling, and wellness promotion
    • Fitness and nutrition education and counseling
    • Referrals for health care services not provided at the clinics

    Multnomah County Primary Care Clinics

    In addition to Student Health Centers,  provide low-cost family health care at seven locations. They provide care to underserved, low-income, and uninsured residents of Multnomah County.

    The Benson Wellness Center is a certified School-Based Health Center sponsored by and located at Benson Polytechnic High School. OHSU Family Medicine providers serve as the clinic’s staff. The clinic also includes a mental health counselor, a school nurse and a social worker - staff members provided by the Multnomah County Health Department, Multnomah Education Service District and èßäapp¹ÙÍø. The Benson Wellness Center sees all èßäapp¹ÙÍø students and community members ages 7-21 regardless of ability to pay. They accept all insurance plans and uninsured patients. School-based clinics such as Benson’s offer easy access to health care in a school setting. This helps remove concerns about cost, transportation or confidentiality that might keep young people from getting the services they need.

    ZoomCare Free Nights

    Part of ZoomCare's mission is making great healthcare more affordable, accessible, and complete. However, we know there's still a long way to go to reach that goal. Obstacles, such as cost and lack of insurance coverage, prevent many in our communities from getting the necessary care they deserve.

    To help bridge the gap between cost and care, we started ZoomCare Free Nights. On the second Wednesday of every month, we offer cost-free clinic appointments from 6-9 p.m. in both èßäapp¹ÙÍø and Seattle.
