    2025 ORCA Reading Challenge

    Creative Science School will be participating in the 2024-2025 Oregon Reader's Choice Awards (ORCA).  It was established in 2010 as a way for the Oregon youth to have a voice in what they believe to be the best books for students.

    There are 3 different divisions, based on appropriate content. If a student reads at least 2 books in the Elementary Division or the Middle School Level, that student is allowed to vote for their favorite one in an election in March. I will also let you know that I was on the ORCA Middle School Book Choice Committee.

     VOTE!!

    From March 1st to March 31st, any Oregon student or teacher can vote for their favorite Oregon Reader's Choice Award (ORCA) book, as long as they have read at least TWO books in any of the divisions.
