MCCA Before & After School Programs
About Us:
MCCA is a community of friends where the values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility are nurtured. We are conveniently located at Markham Elementary School. Our program is designed to enrich each child's school day experience. MCCA was charted as a nonprofit member association in 1991, and parents of children attending MCCA are members of our association. Parent participation is encouraged and considered a valuable asset to our program. We hold two member meetings per year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
Our program is licensed by the Oregon Department of Education, Office of Early Learning. Each of our staff completes a criminal background check and is certified in First Aid/CPR, Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect. All program staff complete a minimum of 15 hours of professional development annually and are enrolled in the Oregon Registry. The Oregon Registry Online (ORO) is a voluntary statewide professional development system in the field of Childhood Care and Education.
