Camp Fire on-site Childcare
Camp Fire Columbia operates a before- and after-school child care program at Woodlawn for children who are 5 or older. Due to the unknown state of the start of school (in person, virtual, hybrid, etc.) Camp Fire is accepting registration for the 2020-21 school year but will not offer on-site care if the school building is not open for daytime school.
Note from Blaine, the on-site manager:
All of our registration info can be found here: from enrollment instructions, program pricing and rates, financial aid application, and much more. Open enrollment begins June 2nd, families who register between then and June 30th will be entered into an enrollment lottery. Camp Fire will follow up-to-date guidance on prioritizing essential workers and then administer a random lottery to fill the remaining spaces. Pre-registration is currently open, which allows families to set up an account, get familiar with our registration software, and enter the bulk of their information. This does not save a spot or enroll children in our programs, but it does help streamline the registration process once it does open up, and gives us an extended timeframe to troubleshoot and assist with issues anyone may have. We are working to eliminate as many barriers to our child care as possible. If you are applying for financial assistance<> and see the $55 registration fee as a hardship and unaffordable, please reach out to awest@campfirecolumbia.org<mai
lto:awest@campfirecolumbia.org > for information on how to waive this fee. I also hope to serve everyone on an individual basis, if there are any questions or concerns I'm able to be reached at Woodlawn@campfirecolumbia.org Thank you!
