Arleta SUN Community School provides a FREE after-school program that promotes student success by extending the school day through enrichment activities and homework assistance. SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) also provides adult classes & workshops as well as family events. Community schools serve as mini “community centers” by keeping a public building open & active during after-school hours, and bringing youth & family opportunities directly to the neighborhood. It’s an alternative way for you and the local community to connect with the school! SUN is not a childcare program.
