CHS Counseling Program Mission Statement
The Cleveland High School Counseling Department's mission is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that supports all students. Counselors support students in building skills around academic success, social/emotional wellness, community/service involvement, and college/career readiness. The program develops lifelong learners with critical thinking skills, while ensuring student safety, equity and access to education.

There are five counselors at Cleveland. Students stay with the same counselor for their entire four years of high school.

- Assist students, parents, and staff with educational planning
- Assist students with post-high school planning
- Assist students and families toward a successful high school experience
- Assist students with problems that interfere with their ability to succeed in school
