Ms. Shelah Kelso
I specialize in teaching and training for business and financial education. Let’s talk money! As a former business and resource developer, I enjoy teaching Career and Technical Education courses because they combine my experience in business with my passion for education, financial success, and desire to help others to achieve their best life.
Originally I am from the Phoenix area, where I grew up in the 1980s and 90s. After spending 15 years in Los Angeles and a brief stint on the East Coast, I settled in èßäapp¹ÙÍø in 2015 with my husband and son. When summer rolls around, you’ll find me exploring the world—I’ve already visited 11 countries and counting!
On the academic front, I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College in èßäapp¹ÙÍø, following my B.A. in Sociology from UCLA. I’m licensed and endorsed in Business CTE, Marketing CTE, and Social Studies, bringing a well-rounded perspective to my teaching.
Being a teen parent decades ago and a first-generation college student, I was fortunate enough to have teachers who changed my life for the better. Every day that I teach is a blessing and I am grateful for the opportunity not only to teach but to learn and engage with the next generation. I love making a positive difference in the lives of others.
