èßäapp¹ÙÍø Facility Standards ("the Standards" or "Facility Standards" - formerly "Design Standards and Guidelines") are the technical design and construction criteria provided for project teams' reference regarding contractor responsibilities, and building materials and systems performance requirements for both new construction and renovation projects on èßäapp¹ÙÍø sites. The Standards are not comprehensive specifications and do not address all potential design ideas or options. Building alterations, program support requirements, and unique site conditions, among other variables, will affect the final scope and detail of all projects. Full contract documents are required to be developed on a case by case basis and to be reviewed and approved by èßäapp¹ÙÍø prior to the bid and construction phases of any project.
