    The purpose of this website is to provide information that will support and assist Substitute Educators in èßäapp¹ÙÍø. The main resources provide information for day-to-day substituting with èßäapp¹ÙÍø as well as provide information on Frequently Asked Questions, Substitute Educator Resources, Site Report, Substitute Labor Agreement, and License Renewal.

     

    Employment Opportunities

    Substitute Educators are valued members of the èßäapp¹ÙÍø community who play an integral role in supporting the students and school communities of èßäapp¹ÙÍø every day. Working as a Substitute Educator with èßäapp¹ÙÍø requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as Substitute Educators are eligible to work throughout the district in any school, any subject, and any grade level. Substitute educators work a flexible schedule on an as-needed basis, and have the ability to assign themselves to jobs via the Absence Management system.

    èßäapp¹ÙÍø has a competitive hiring process for our Substitute Educator pool. In order to be considered for a Substitute Educator position, you must hold an active Oregon Teaching License issued from TSPC or the ability to obtain one, and you must submit your application to the current Substitute Educator job posting.     Salary Opportunities

    - Daily Rate of Pay: $247.58 for a full day of work or $123.79 for a half day of work.

    - Extended Rate: When working 10+ days in an assignment, substitute educators will be eligible for an extended rate of daily pay of $276.80 for full days and $138.40 for half days.

    - Incentive Schools: The district may designate a school as an incentive school at any time for the remainder of the current school year.  If a Substitute Educator works at a designated incentive school, they will receive an additional $15 for a full day or $10 for a half day on top of their daily (or extended) rate of pay.
