Announcing the 8th Annual International Youth Leadership Conference

We are grateful to the educators and staff at èßäapp¹ÙÍø State University for their 5th year of support in celebrating the linguistic and cultural assets that our Emergent Bilingual Students bring to èßäapp¹ÙÍø. We also appreciate the support of èßäapp¹ÙÍø staff and teachers as they help to register their students. And a big shout out to the dozens of presenters and exhibitors from our community who will share their valuable knowledge and experience with the hundreds of EBs who bring their own enthusasiam for the day. 

The IYLC is an opportunity for students to learn and network with fellow students, educators and community leaders in the èßäapp¹ÙÍø area.

In the morning, students partake in a general assembly and presentation by a keynote speaker. Students then break into cohorts for two separate workshops focusing on themes of leadership, multi-cultural appreciation, and preparation for college/career. Students also have opportunities to meet with college and business recruiters and campus tours provided by èßäapp¹ÙÍø State Univeristy.
