Frank Talerico
Frank Talerico, Jr. began teaching in 1999 as a varying exceptionalities/ESE teacher. Although originally from Cleveland, OH, he spent most of his life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, until 2013, when he and his family relocated to èßäapp¹ÙÍø, OR. His wife, Tracie Talerico, is a èßäapp¹ÙÍø English teacher, and he has two daughters: Addison, who is a 7th grader at West Sylvan, and Aubrie, who is a 10th grader at Lincoln. Frank is starting his 22nd year as an educator, and has worked as a Special Education case manager, a Social Studies teacher, an English/Language Arts teacher, and as a Math teacher throughout his career. For the past six years, he has worked as a Special Education Case Manager/Learning Center Teacher at Roosevelt High School in North èßäapp¹ÙÍø. Frank earned his Bachelor's of Arts in Education at Florida Atlantic University, and his Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus in Social Studies education, at the University of Missouri.
Frank has remained an active participant at his previous schools as the boys' golf coach as well as a moderator for different extracurricular organizations, such as Junior State of America, Speech and Debate, and the National History Club. Additionally, Frank enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, sports (football and baseball especially), and spending time exploring the Pacific Northwest with his family. He is very excited to be joining the Lincoln family!
