About the Bond
The èßäapp¹ÙÍø School Improvement Bond program began in 2012 and is overseen by the Office of School Modernization. Most èßäapp¹ÙÍø schools were built before WW2 and many are over 100 years old. These buildings are in need of significant upgrades. The èßäapp¹ÙÍø Long Range Facilities Plan calls for the modernization and rebuilding of all èßäapp¹ÙÍø school facilities over the next several decades. Three capital improvement bonds have been passed so far and every school in the District has been upgraded by the work.
