Jefferson High School Middle College for Advanced Studies offers students a unique opportunity to participate in the whole high school experience while taking college courses at Jefferson and èßäapp¹ÙÍø Community College.
On the Jefferson campus, students take a variety of dual-credit courses. These classes are taught in Jefferson classrooms by Jefferson teachers and meet the level required to earn college credit. Students receive for Art 115; Ethnic Studies/ES 101; Junior English/Integrated Reading and Writing (IRW 115); Pre-Calculus/MATH 95; Oregon Institute of Technology for Anatomy & Physiology/BIO 103; and .
Jefferson students can take up to five credits per term of any 100/200 level course for free on the èßäapp¹ÙÍø Community College Cascade campus starting the summer after their sophomore year. All books and fees are included. Students can take classes that prepare them for a four-year degree or career-training courses such as medical assistance or emergency management systems.
Class of 2025 students must have at least 12 college credits to earn a Middle College diploma, including one on-site PCC course.
