Welcome to the College & Career Center!

The post-secondary planning process can feel inaccessible, overwhelming, and impossible. In the College & Career Center, we're here to help. Whether you know exactly what you want to do after high-school or are uncertain about your plan, we can help you brainstorm and strategize your options. Our goal is to help Lincoln students navigate this process with a minimum of stress and anxiety, from their ninth grade year all the way through to twelfth grade.

Together, we can help you think through all your options, including various career paths, the trades, the military, a gap year, a 2-year college, or a 4-year college. We'll brainstorm part-time and summer job options. We can offer resume, cover letter, and interview support. We help figure out your best strategy for applying to college, develop a timeline, and work on your personal essays. Whatever pathways you might be considering, we're here to help!

Come find us in the College & Career Center, Room 153!

As the Career Coordinator, I am here to help students, of all grade levels, with all things career related, whether that be job searching, resume and interview preparation, volunteering, finding career related learning opportunities or exploring gap years, military, and other career options.

I work closely with Career Technical Education (CTE) programs at LHS, which incorporates hands-on, work-based learning into their classes. My goal is for all LHS students to leave high school with the skills, career awareness, and confidence to thrive in a post-secondary world!

I’m a second-generation Nicaraguan immigrant who was born and raised in èßäapp¹ÙÍø. I’m here to help students find a pathway that’s right for you and connect your education with your interests, passions, and future goals.

As the College Coordinator at Lincoln, I can help with all parts of the post-high school planning process. Whether you know exactly what you want to do after high school, or are still unsure, I’d love to help you figure it out. I can offer support with the college application process, college timeline, and Maia Learning, and share resources about how to pay for college, financial aid, and scholarships, and more.

ASPIRE’s focus is on students who may have been historically underserved or are affected by other barriers to a successful post-high school path. Some of our students are the first in their families to go to college or vocational school. Working closely with the College and Career Coordinators, I and other volunteer adult mentors help these students become career and college ready, providing 1:1 support in navigating the process.
