Wayne Pigford
Wayne Pigford is a science teacher. He went to California State Northridge where he earned his bachelor of arts in child and adolescent development as well as his masters in applied behavior analysis. Pigford worked as a behavioral therapist before he was a teacher. He enjoyed finding new solutions for issues every day by teaching life skills, academic skills, and helping to shape children into the “wonderful individuals that they are.” Pigford grew up in California and taught there, before moving to èßäapp¹ÙÍø, Oregon in 2020. This is his second year teaching at Ida B. Wells. Pigford tries to make his class fun by playing music and running around. Some of his favorite things to do outside of school are dancing in his living room, reading graphic novels, and watching Love Island UK.
