Brief Description:
This class will include a study of cells, biochemistry, human physiology, genetics and ecology. Other topics may include diet and nutrition, physiology of exercise, evolution and/or neurobiology & behavior.
Emphasis will be placed on critical thinking and understanding of scientific theories as well as experimentation.
This course is open to all students who have met the prerequisites. Students successfully completing this course will be qualified to take the standard level IB Biology examination in the second year.
